NATHAN'S STORY
In the early morning of Wed. July 22nd, 2009, Nathan's cough was still bothersome and he was showing signs of dehydration, vomiting, and had passed out during the night.
He was taken to the local clinic in Kasson, after that he was sent by ambulance to Mayo in Rochester. There they admitted him to the pediatric unit of St. Mary's Hospital.
Many blood samples were drawn throughout the day and night, CT scans, X rays, etc... They did a bone marrow biopsy sample and also did a TAP procedure to take fluids off the lungs for diagnostic reasons, at that time they put a new IV line in in his femur artery.
On Friday the 24th, Nathan was diagnosed with T cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia Cancer. He started treatment the very next day.
Nathan has a great support staff of friends and family.
He will beat this!
Thanks for everyone for their support!
